Teaching privately and within the school system for 30 years, with a compassionate understanding of the student in a holistic sense, Valerie has seen many struggling students develop confidence and autonomy as learners in many subject areas. Lessons, in music, maths, English or developmentally broad skills (homework and home studies) are individually tailored to the needs and strengths of the student. Covering subjects English: early childhood through to university Maths: early childhood to year 10 All subjects: assignments, homework, questions left after the school day are all attended to regardless of subject Piano and music: school subjects at all levels and private study all ages and levels Valerie has a keen interest and success with early childhood beginners (2 years upwards) and advanced performance (diploma levels) Lessons that are adapted for the learner
